The Pokémon Center ETB preorder crashed the site in July, queues past 7 hours, sold out by afternoon. On TCGplayer it peaked at 12.2x its $59.99 MSRP that week, more than the 2021 Pokémon Center ETB commands after five years of real demand. It was 8.3x on September 8, a week before launch.

On September 8, eight days before launch, every product sold above MSRP, the Elite Trainer Box at 3.7x its $49.99 list. Presale prices were already down 58% since July, the loose pack went from $136 to $17, and Pitch Black says chase singles lose another half after launch.
